Dr. Herba Collagen Essence Review

 When I received my Shinny Green circle lenses Shoppingholics also sent me Dr. Herba Collagen Essence. I already used it all up and I gotta say, I quite enjoyed using it :3

How to use it

Pump 1-2 times to dispense a proper amount (around 0.5ml) to palm. Applied to skin after using lotion. Your may wipe, pat and press for better absorption. Follow with moisturizer and eye care. 

Review:
My skin is pretty firm already and I don't really need to use products like these just yet but I believe starting early doesn't hurt either so I've been slowly changing my products to help improve the elasticity of my skin.

I used this every night after I washed my face and put moisturizer on. I preferred using it at night because it goes into my skin much better being left alone on my face than trying to rush it to dry to put my makeup on. In the morning my skin felt smoother, soft and bouncier. I'm not sure how long it took until I started feeling this but within the month's use of it, I was upset that it was all gone x]

It's been about two weeks or so since I ran out and my face doesn't feels as firm so this is probably a product you have to continually use to keep getting results.

I have combination skin where it's oily on my forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks but it's dry at the same time on my cheeks and around my lips. It's pretty sucky. The affect this product had on me balanced out the dryness but as for the oil, not much changed. I'd like to say the oil reduced but I didn't pay too much attention to it because I'm just used to being oily x]

It's a clear liquid in a small bottle and it feels like a thin oil but on the skin it doesn't feel like it's clogging or anything. It's pretty comfortable and it doesn't take much to cover your entire face. I liked applying it to my neck too. It never made me break out and it was a simple extra step to my routine. After I put on my moisturizer, I just put this on and went to bed.

Overall, I'm very happy they sent this to me! I would have never bought this myself since I'm really picky with skin products. I think people who are concerned about the state of their skin should give this a try though. They have other "Essences"that can help improve the skin in different ways as well, so I think that's worth taking a look at. If you look at the chart below, it shows that you can use Dr. Herba Collagen Essence with their other Essences.

The yellow one is Dr. Herba Placenta Protein Essence which "reinvigorates aging skin by promoting intense hydration and restoring natural elasticity, firming, and smoothing the skin for a more youthful complexion."

The orange one is Dr. Herba Caviar Essence which helps "regenerate the skin and the skin is deeply hydrated and continuously recovers it's elasticity and firmness, restoring all the smoothness."

The blue one is Dr. Herba Fullerene Essence. The description goes, "A new generation of wrinkles and dullness of the skin cells function of protein which is composed of ultraviolet rays and freckles, stress, and noticing approach to anti-agin. A fullerene which support aging care, that will not easily lose it's effectiveness even if active oxygen is taken and promotes the transparency of the skin. It is 125 times more effective than Vitamin C."

Unfortunately, it seems that they don't have the green one which I'm sure more of the younger people who view my blog would of been curious to try. Either way, I'd recommend giving this a chance if you're concerned with aging skin or wrinkles.
