OK1984 #HellaCute Chokers by Kreayshawn

So, here’s something crazy and unexpected. Kreayshawn reached out to me on IG and sent me a choker from her new line on OK1989.com! There’s a gold dolphin, a blue bloodshot eye ball, and a gold dog bone! Here’s their IG if you want to follow!

It's easy to tell that they're influenced by 90s fashion and very playful at that. The choices for the charms are fun and are 14k gold plated. They're good quality even for their simplicity.

The choker itself is 14" and made of vegan leather. Even though there are two clasps in the back, there's no stretch to this so measure your neck before purchasing! It's better for it to be a little loose than right at 14", as well.

Here I'm wearing the golden dolphin charm.

I felt that this one fit my aesthetics more than the others. The chokers and charms are well made and feel like they'll last. So if this is something that suits your looks, I recommend it!

On to the review!

Color + Pattern
These are a beautiful gray lens. No hints of blue or purple. It looks pretty natural in person. They're a medium to light tone. Bright enough to see even in dim lights but not too light or too dark.

Enlargement
The label says they're 14.2mm but that's hard to believe with the size difference. I wear 14.5mm clear contact lenses which look the same size as these. Though they definitely do appear more natural sized versus other lenses that are labeled 14.5mm for that dolly look.

Comfort
I would expect monthly lenses to be soft, moisturized, and comfortable, and these meet up each expectation. I would recommend just from comfort alone!

Over All
After the Lime Green lenses from this series, I thought I wouldn't like these as much but turns out they're yet another new favorite! Once again, it's too bad they're monthly lenses so I don't get as much wear out of them but that guarantees freshness. Gonna be really sad when I have to throw these away! They're so beautiful and they give a warm effect instead of cold as some gray lenses can do.

Abaday Clothing Review!

Hello, everyone!

Today I have a review from Abaday.com, featuring two pieces that I personally chose myself!

When I first picked out these items, I assumed they would look exactly like the pictures on the site so I was disappointed when I received the actual pieces. Mostly just the playsuit.

This is the one that was sent to me. Compared to the picture on the site, it's blatant the difference of print. It's not as elegant or intricate. Though the fabric is soft and comfortable, the print looks cheap versus what I was expecting and the sleeves are supposed to be sheer. The cut was poor, as well. They tried, but it doesn't flow like it should. Just looking at the stock picture, I can tell there's more pleating for freer space around the hips but this basically hugs me. Especially my thighs! There were no measurements offered for hips and thighs which is super important for shopping online! Not all of us have slim thighs and hips.

This a slip-on, no zippers or buttons or openings except for the top. The waist has an elastic band but the thighs do not. It's sewn into that size only. I would of been okay with that had the bottoms more room.

I was extremely hesitant to put it on for pictures but they encouraged me to so here you guys go!
It's not flattering for my build or shape. I had to wear things and pose specifically for it to look decent but I wouldn't wear it casually because it just looks funny without constant help. Some people may think it looks just fine but I know how to dress my body which is why I wanted the piece in the picture. I would of been a lot more gracious about the one they sent if the bottom half was put together like in the stock picture.

The top is good. It's as expected, but fashion tape or something underneath is required to keep from being exposed. The sleeves, as I said, should have been sheer, but this fabric is completely solid.

It does say in the description for the sizes that a lot of customers suggest wearing a size larger. I got a size M for this but even if I went with a size L, the way the bottom is sewn wouldn't of changed. Yes, I may have had more room and length, but if it's just a bigger version of this, it will remain stiff because of the way it's put together.

This is the second piece which I find myself more forgiving. There are still differences such as the sleeves and neckline, and I can tell the cuts in the back are slightly different shapes. Little things that I don't mind. Though I'm not a fan of the neckline since it doesn't lay flat.

I chose this because I needed more tops. It's plain, which means I can wear it with many things, and the cuts in the back are good for Florida weather without exposing too much. As you can see in my pictures, the neckline doesn't lay flat and pinches in the middle at times. That's a sign of poor workmanship. If it was supposed to stick up, the fine detail such as the stitching would be more refined.

This one I decided to get an XL which is basically the same measurements for the playsuit which was a M so definitely take the time to look at the measurements before purchasing!

Even though I can pick out fine details really well, I'm typically not so critical because I'm usually satisfied since I have a mentality of make the best of what I have. I have little room to have a spoiled mentality, which is what I'm applying to the t-shirt, but I'm sure just as everyone else, no one likes to be given something that doesn't reach their expectations or requirements when you're given an idea of what you're supposed to receive. A.k.a., the playsuit. I must admit, I was very excited about that piece which makes my judgement harsher than usual.

Depending on your expectations and flexibility, while the first piece may have not been amazing and the second was alright, I'm sure the rest of the website offers a mixed bag. I do wish they had pictures of the actual product you're buying cause I don't want anyone else to feel let down!

Geolica Holicat Barbie Brown Circle Lens Review

This review is based on my own personal experiences.

I'm familiar enough with LensVillage to know that HanaVillage will be just as reliable and professional! They also offer 1 to 1 exchange on contact lenses if you have problems with them and you can also request for a return/exchange if you're unhappy with your purchase!

I had to take a picture with my kitty, Howl, cause the lenses reminded me of his coloring!

Color + Pattern
As the name suggests, they're very cat-like in color. The pixels are completely opaque and will cover up dark brown eyes with ease. The pupil hole is large and the pattern doesn't allow blending with the eye color. I like that the outer ring is actually dark brown and not black.

Enlargement
These are 14.5mm and even though they may not look huge and dolly on my eyes, on most people these will do the trick! You can see the difference between the natural size of my iris versus the lens in the picture above, to the bottom right corner.

Comfort
These are comfortable for me. I wouldn't say my eyes dry out easy but as usual, I would always recommend carrying eyedrops and not surpassing 8 hours of wear. Shorter time if possible. The base curve will have an influence on comfort, as well. It may slide more if it doesn't fit properly.

Over All
They're beautiful but I'm not enchanted with them cause I don't think they look very good with my skin tone and current hair color. The color combo isn't my favorite. However, these are pretty! They're shiny, vibrant, and the pattern and color really give off a cat look.

I've also two other items from HanaVillage that I will review soon!
Please look forward to it!

20" Ash Blonde 7pcs Clip In Remy Human Hair Extensions Review from OuterInner.com

When I change my hair, hair extensions is a must for me. Otherwise it just doesn't feel complete!
Almost every time I have new extensions they've been from a different company.

This time they're from OuterInner.com!
They're the same business that sent me these beautiful dresses!

Now I have the chance to review another section of their site, which they actually provide a variety of fashionable products. From weddings, special events, to casual wear, accessories, and wigs and extensions! Seems like a pretty great stop to get an entire look for so many occasions :D

On top of a great outfit, I think great hair is a must. Whether it's short or long. For my preference, long hair makes the biggest impact not just on my looks but my confidence. I feel that it frames my face better and I can hair flip, hahaha!

The item that I'm reviewing is the..
20" Ash Blonde 7pcs Clip In Remy Human Hair Extensions in the color #613E. Though on the site you'll see it as 16", but they have a drop down menu for 16", 18", 20", 22", and 24" as your options. Though the extensions I actually requested were 12pcs, not 7pcs. I completely forgot it was supposed to be 12 and I didn't get in contact with them. Based on my interactions with their representative they would have fixed the situation so please keep that in mind but this is still a review for the 20" 7 piece set!

Here's a quick rundown of the main points but further down among the pictures will be an elaboration of these points.

PROS
- even color (before hair dye) - soft - shiny - full length, 20" - double weft - takes color well - good price for length

CONS
- still thin after double weft - stubborn clips - had to resew one clip - feels like the hair will dry out fast -

RECOMMENDED
- good for long and thin hair for average appearance of thickness
- good for medium length hair, average to thin, of the 16" option for length and a little thickness

COMMENTS
- I won’t be able to review the longevity because I've combined them with older extensions for more thickness. The other extensions will influence the quality and longevity. Otherwise it was too thin for my hair to wear.
- All in all, not up to my personal standards. I like having very thick hair or at the very least matching the thickness I have right now. If anything they feel like beginner extensions. The kind you try out without being overwhelmed, but they can also be underwhelming.

FULL REVIEW

When they arrived they came in a regular plastic package and folded in a long rectangular piece of cardboard. Opening it, they're held in by an elastic band. I tried to edit the picture to it's truest color but it may still vary depending on your monitor/phone settings. In person I would consider them bleach blonde more than ash but they do have less yellow tone than bleach blonde. Ash blonde to me has a slight gray undertone. At best it may be a very light ash blonde.

This is how they looked after I dyed them with Manic Panic's Electric Lizard and Raven. The extensions took the color well and I believe the coloring is likely uneven from my own application rather than the hair itself. It turned out beautifully! I did a slight ombre so my hair will still match if I retouch mine a bit dark and have it fade later.

Here I measured the length. The perspective may seem like I didn't put the measuring tape to the top but that's just all the clips stacked onto each other. It's a full 20", actually exceeding to 21". When I say full, I mean the ends aren't thin. There are some extensions that claim a certain length but the ends are so thin it's better to cut them off. I didn't have to in this case.

You can't really tell in the picture below, but they are double wefted. Which means there's two layers of sewn hair. Even then it's still pretty thin. The clips aren't the best quality. They're big, loud, and stubborn to clip on at times. I've read somewhere that with some hair clips you have to break them in by clipping and unclipping them, but not in your hair. And I'm only noticing now in this picture if you look at the left clip, not all of the prongs end with a little ball that typically protects the scalp.

And excuse my wet hair!

This is all 7 pieces in my hair. Once again, I completely forgot I was supposed to receive the 12 piece. Had I remembered I would have gotten in contact with them to fix the error. They've been nothing but kind to me so I fully expect them to have worked with me through it but since they're already colored and everything there's no returning it!

The packaging isn't exactly safe for return though. Other extensions that I've used usually came with a sample that you can open and observe for quality before opening the rest so just in case it's not what you want you can return it and the hair is untouched which is more hygienic.

You can see the difference between my hair and the extensions, not just by color, but by thickness and thinness. You can see the texture of my top through the extensions and you can tell my hair is somewhat thick. I wouldn't of been able to use these extensions had I not combined them with more hair. It would of been very obvious. However, I am happy that the hair is pretty consistent though. Even though it's not thick, it doesn't continue to thin towards the ends.

As much as I would have liked to try out the 12 piece, 7 pieces fit my head the best without worrying about the wefts showing through. So there's a plus side to that.

For further comparison of thickness and thinness, I quickly braided my hair and the extensions together. Of course adding any extra hair to your own will increase thickness but it would of been better for me to have gotten the 16" if I just wanted some thickness instead of length.

I think people with thin hair would benefit from this set the best. It's not too heavy and it offers just enough amount of hair for it to blend in and not look obvious. I wouldn't recommend it for brittle hair because of the stiff and stubborn clips, unless you buy your own clips to resew it all later.

So the pros and cons aren't exactly balanced, unless we're talking about my personal preferences. I can see some good out of these for thin hair as most extension companies are all about thick hair.

I think the price for this set is reasonable as well. For the 20" 7 piece, it's $89.94. I've had extensions close to that price that were thicker but they were shorter and dried out fast. As usual though, it's hard to experiment and try extensions online. It's a lot of hit and miss.

I don't know what to say about this one. I'm unsatisfied because I wanted thicker hair, but I'm happy with the length and it's price for what it offers. I guess it just depends on what you want and what you have!

And just to throw it in, this is what I did with the extensions! I combined them with darker green hair and trimmed them to suit the thickness and layered them for better styling :]

Had it been the 12 piece, I may have resewn it together to form 7 pieces so it would of been work for me either way. Still feeling blessed that I had the opportunity to review these extensions cause had I not I would of been stuck with my short hair! It would of drove me nuts!

So thank you, OuterInner for this opportunity and for the confidence boost!
Aside their wigs and extensions, they have beautiful clothing. There's always something new and some sort of sale or deal going on, so take a look around :3

Lazy Can Be Cute~ Update + Outfit

Hello, everyone!

Alongside this outfit I want to make this somewhat of an update post. As you can see, I've update the look of my blog! I wanted it to fit my new look and green hair ^^
It's also been awhile since I've posted one of my own outfits without reviewing an item from a sponsor.
Creating outfits and taking pictures of them is a lot more effort than you think and especially when you're as picky as I am! Life has still been all sorts of ups and downs and my husband, who takes all my outfit pictures, works quite a lot so we do what we can when we have the time, which is very little! x[

Still, there are plenty of posts that I will be doing soon that I can take pictures of myself!
The upcoming posts on April Fool Romance are the following:

I hope you're all excited for these posts! Especially the first two.
I still get lots of hair questions and my patience is starting to wear thin with the repetitive cycle, haha. Might as well make a huge detailed post about it! I don't know if I'll have pictures. I rarely take pictures when I do my hair, but we'll see if I can dig anything up.
And it's been two months before I did a Look Of The Day. I've been in a transitional period of style since the last time but I'm comfortable in my skin once again :] Just need to make something up! I had a request for a bang styling tutorial so I may do that :3

Anyways, onto the outfit!

This outfit was completely unplanned and lazy which is amazing because I wound up liking it so much. It's relaxed and it made me realize that my closet is starting to form well to where I can just pick random thing and it would look good together!

The top is a regular fitted V neck. The sleeves are tucked underneath my bra strap, haha. Gotta get a little tricky sometimes. I remember in high school when I used skirts as tops and vice versa, bringing them in with a belt. Remember, they're YOUR clothes. They're pieces of fabric and material that you can wear however your creative mind inspires you to!

These harem pants I've had for years now and continues to be one of my favorite pieces. I try to wear it sparingly so they don't wear out. I don't see them often and these are perfect. They're from Cotton On.

And the shoooeeessssss. As I expected, they go with everything I own and they look so nice! I bought them off of eBay. Just search up chunky white heel platforms. There are a tooooon of different styles. There's a kind for everyone!

Lastly, my accessories are a striped head wrap I found at a thrift store, a necklace from my husband's late grandmother, and the Oracle necklace my best friend bought for me from BloodMilk. I always forget to take pictures of details. I just do the outfit to get it over with, LOL.

The reason why we had time for this was because it was my husband's birthday yesterday!
To quote what I posted as a caption on IG of our picture, "Happy Birthday to my husband! I should go thank his parents for creating someone amazing. Though I think they may have summoned him from another better alternate dimension cause he's one of those "too good to be true" kind of people. He always amazes me! I love him to pieces!" and here's a long sappy post on my tumblr, haha.

Seriously though, it's thanks to him that I'm capable of being as accepting and kind and for always being supportive of however I look and dress. Without his loving patience I wouldn't be who I am today. He continues to help me discover who I am and inspires me to become better!

Vessos' Loose Batwing Knitwear Review

Here is part two of the items I got from Vessos.com!
Go check it out because it's a super cute dress!

The next item is the
Click the link above to take a look!

I've wanted a top like this to add to my closet for a very long time. It's one of those basic items that will always look good and would be great for layering. Amazingly, this top is only $6.99 and it's quality is much better than I expected it to be! It's still quite thin, but that's a part of the look and appeal.

It's stretchy and baggy with a wide neck opening but it's length rests somewhat like a crop top. The sleeves are batwing and the length of the sleeves are average.

This is how it looks when it rests on me. As you can see, it's sheer but it still produces a bit of heat. I'd say wearing it in comfortable and cool temperature would be the best.

There's only one thing that I did find that wasn't great on this and it was at the neckline. There's one spot where it looks like it may eventually start coming undone within time. Though I still don't have much of a problem with it. I'm sure when that starts happening I'll probably turn it into a DIY project and make it more personal.

Lastly, it's soft, comfortable and light. I can wear it all day!
There's no tag that explains what kind of care the top needs. I'm going to assume it's hand wash in cold water, mild detergent, and to lay it flat to dry. It feels like it anyways, if not, dry clean. Even if it was machine washable it feels delicate and I would prefer to handle it with more care.

The candy part of the clothing description is because there are other colors besides creamy white, as you can see above. The white one was pretty promising so I'll assume the rest are pretty great. I can't vouch how long the color would stay, but I truly do like the material that was used for this.

Anyways, that's it! Don't forget to take a look at my first review from Vessos if you haven't yet. Click this link here for another great, affordable item!
